Albasoft provide clinical audit, quality assurance, payment verification and data extraction services to NHS Scotland. Our flagship product Escro (Enhanced Service Contract Reporting Options) is in daily use by health care professionals across three Health boards (NHS Highland, Forth Valley and Lothian) covering over 300 practices. Designed to ensure that contracted clinical services are delivered to the minimum agreed standard, Escro is the most advanced primary care monitoring system available in the UK.

In addition to our core business of monitoring and improving clinical outcomes for patients, we have now expanded into providing healthcare informatics services to the academic community providing data extraction facilities to Stirling University (Alcohol Brief Interventions) Glasgow University (Counterweight obesity program), Edinburgh (SHELS), Dundee (SHARE and UK biobank) and of course our existing close links with the Highland Clinical Research Facility (HCRF) and UHI.

Our team of dedicated informatics technicians currently provides development, installation and helpdesk support to medical practices covering the three Health Boards, which include servicing enquiries from NHS management teams, GP’s, Nurses and practice administrations staff on a daily basis. Our experience of operating from a base in the North of Scotland has allowed us to develop remote installation and support procedures that will allow us to operate in any area of the UK.
