NHS EDUCATION FOR SCOTLAND
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) provides training for healthcare professionals with their main aim to improve the quality of patient care by designing, commissioning and quality assuring education and training for the NHS workforce.
The central office for the north region of Scotland is based in the Centre for Health Science and is responsible for medical and dental training and education in the north. For more information about NES please click here.
The Remote and Rural Healthcare Educational Alliance (RRHEAL) is also based at the Centre for Health Science and they are responsible for supporting the development of the NHS workforce providing healthcare services for people living in remote and rural communities throughout Scotland.
