The NHS Inverness Dental Centre is based in the Centre for Health Science. The dental centre is run in partnership by NHS Highland and NHS Education for Scotland.

The NHS Diabetes Centre is located within the Highland Diabetes Institute at the Centre for Health Science. The diabetes centre provides care for over 3000 patients throughout the Highlands and Islands. The centre is well equipped with consulting rooms, a podiatry clinic and a facility for retinal screening. There are also consultant diabetologists and specialist nurses who provide secondary diabetes care.

LifeScan Scotland are looking for volunteers who have diabetes to help with research to evaluate and develop blood glucose monitoring systems. Highland Clinical Research Register
The Highland Clinical Research Facility are looking for volunteers to join their research register. The Highland Clinical Research Facility provides a dedicated centre for patient and volunteer clinical research. By joining the register you will be contacted and asked whether you would like to take part in future clinical trials. Participants are needed for clinical trials to take place as the results from these trials are used by Doctors to decide how best to treat patients.
